Brooke Conroy started dancing at a young age studying Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and Acro. Later in her training, she joined a competitive team in Peterborough where she competed in many competitions across Ontario for 5 years. Brooke also trained under Susie Clarke at Thomas A. Stewart (TAS) in the high school's integrated arts dance stream and competed with their dance team that won First Overall School. Brooke is currently studying at Trent University to get her teaching degree which she hopes to use to teach dance in schools across Ontario in the future.

As a performer, Brooke has been part of the Peterborough Lakers Dance and Cheer Team for many years where she has had the privilege of dancing in front of crowds of 4,000 people and had the opportunity to dance at the Mann Cup Championships. Brooke recently took on the role of Assistant Coach for the Senior,  Junior, and Mini dance teams. One of Brooke’s biggest accomplishments is being featured in the “I Don’t Dance” music video by Lindsay Barr.

Brooke's teaching career began at a local Peterborough Studio where taught children ages 0-18 in various styles including Hip Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, Wee Wigglers, and Improvisation. Many of the competitive team routines Brooke choreographed won awards, including Top Overall Large Group for one of her Hip Hop pieces. Brooke has also continued her connection with Susie Clarke since graduating the TAS integrated arts program by volunteering and teaching in the dance stream. Brooke has always enjoyed helping to inspire the next generation of not only dancers, but young people in all aspects of their lives. Her top priority is ensuring every dancer has the tools they need to be successful in and out of the studio. She lives by the motto instilled in her by her mentor, “More than Moves”.
